Autumn's First Soccer Game of the 2009 Season

Autumn had a lot of fun playing soccer last year and that’s what counts. But the parents got a little discouraged that the team never scored a goal in any of their games. So you can imagine my excitement when Autumn scored a goal today!!! I know that pride is a sin, but when my daughter scored the first goal of the first soccer game, I just couldn’t keep it in. Autumn and the rest of the team played a wonderful game. Autumn was so focused, energetic, and aggressive, that I was probably the proudest father in the world watching her play. She did such a good job! She came up to me after the first quarter looking sad and I said, "You're doing awesome, what's wrong?" She replied, "I only scored one goal." She didn't even realize that I had already deemed her the most valuable player in the world.

Darn she is getting big! It just blows my mind how much she has grown from when we left. I love the pictures and love how aggressive she is! I really wish I could be there to see her play! That's a sweet picture of Noah too! Give them our love!
