MA Mini-Vacation For Autumn & Daddy

Long story short... My brother Chris calls me Friday night and says he has an extra ticket to the Patriots game on Sunday and that airfare is only so much. I've never been to a Pats game and Maria says I should go - I'm going! Saturday morning my sister-in-law Jenn sends Maria a message asking if I can pack Autumn into my luggage, which gives us the notion to try to get Autumn a ticket too. It all worked out and Autumn got to go on her first airplane on her first trip outside of North Carolina and I got to go see my first live Patriots game. Below are some pictures from our trip. The first is the sign greeting us at the airport in Boston mad and held by Chris, Jenn, and Ellen.
Autumn riding Ellen's $1 tractor. If Noah would have ben there he would have never gotten off this thing.

Autumn and Ellen hiding out in the Dora tent. Autumn and Ellen played together like best friends. Autumn actually sobbed for about 20 minutes after we left Ellen at the airport to return home and not even cupcakes could make her happy again.

Me with the tickets.

The trees were already turning colors up in New England - a nice touch to our quick trip.

Entering Foxboro, home of Gillette Stadium.

The tailgating consisted of me drinking one beer and then having to wait in a long line to pee.

My first look at the inside of the stadium. Isn't it Grand!

This was the view from our seats. Looks like we were way up there (and we were) but you could still tell who was who and what was what.

Chris and I in our seats, Section 326, Row 17, Seats 11 & 12!

The view of the scoreboard at the far endzone. The building in the back is the Pats Hall of Fame - maybe next time...
Sold out crowd on a rainy day. I believe this was the biggest event I have ever attended.

Pats action shot.

Chris and I after the game. Chris, thanks for the attire.

Final score: New England Patriots 26, Atlanta Falcons 10.

Autumn holding the snack bag on the plane from New York to Greensboro. There were only a few people on board and we had the whole back of the plane to ourselves.

Noah pumping his fist while saying "Go Pats!" Hopefully, there will be a video of this coming soon. It's adorable, but sideways.

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day weekend was perfect. On Sunday, Maria and I went out on a date and had an incredibly wonderful time together. We split a bottle of wine at the restaurant which was a first for us though we've been together for almost 11 years. While Maria and I were enjoying our date, Gram & Pop took the kids to McDonalds and then to the park near our house where they played and fed the ducks. Today (Labor Day) we did a bit of shopping and then Autumn and I took a bicycle ride on one of the greenway trails which culminated on a bridge over a creek. That just thrilled Autumn and the whole ride tired us both out. I was pretty impressed with her endurance so I let her get a milkshake on the ride home. This evening after supper we spent time together outside and that is when the videos below were taken.

Autumn's first day of Pre-K

Autumn started Pre-K last Monday. Here she is in all her excitement ready to head off to Childtime.
